So much to mourn here. ICE shot and killed a single father just after he has dropped his two kids off at daycare. Their justification for stopping him was traffic violations form 12 years ago. Their justification for shooting him was that he was driving away.

A completely needless tragedy.

ICE lied about the person it shot, claiming he was a "criminal," but NBC finds that he had no criminal history whatsoever. Not even traffic tickets in 12 years! It also lied about the extent of the injuries to its agents....

I’m excited to have some of my game zines in such great company at the @plusoneexp.bsky.social table for the South Street Fall Festival today.
An outdoor booth with three different types of tables, all covered with a huge assortment of Indie rpg publications produced and published by plus one XP, including a generous assortment from all of the talented artists and designers in Philadelphia.

We had a great time last weekend at the #pittsburghartbookfair

The room is full of booths and tables selling in the publications. The Vernal Pool Press booth at the Pittsburgh art fair is full of amazing posters and fine artist books.

I finally got my physical copy of #Oddfolk by @snaxwell and I’m really enjoying everything I’ve seeing in the system. And the design is lovely use of page spreads.
A zine sitting on the table, the title reads oddfolk, and it’s a brightly colored image collage out of medieval and early Renaissance painting and engraving. The same oddfolk zine in the last picture but all of the inserts, called Kit, are spread out across the table. They look outrageous and glorious.

Lately, I have found myself saying, ‘hang in there’, in the space a normal person might say, ‘have a good one’ or ‘take care!’ And I’ve recently added, ‘I’m hanging in there’ where it is usually occupied with an ‘I’m good, thanks.’ It’s become almost reflexive.
