I grow weary of the ways what we’ve been saying about our bodily autonomy being necessary is only digestible through the lens of studies “proving” that having access to basic control over our bodies is good for our mental health or is associated with any other positive outcomes.
1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.
It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.
It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

We adultify little girls to justify men raping them, infantilize men when they perpetrate rape. This isn't a prank, this is men sexually dominating a boy. This language intentionally destigmatizes men's sexual violence to men/boys by framing it as fun, pranks, or hazing.

The only truly irreversible thing a trans child is likely to do is take their own life. "What if they do something irreversible?" actually means "theyre not allowed to make a decision!"
