Unless and until some kind of compelling legal and moral argument is presented as to why this is a legitimate use of deadly force, this is just…mass murder.
The military has now killed 27 people as if they were enemy soldiers in a war zone and not criminal suspects. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/14/u...

7. Here are a list of Dems voting for and against the bill:

In 2016 superdelegates put their thumbs on the scale of the Democratic primary. Trump won the general election.
In 2020 Dems had a competitive primary and won the presidency.
In 2024 Dems didn't have a real primary race, and again Trump won the general election.
Dems should be more democratic.

the age of societal domination by mediocre white men was drawing to a close. nature was healing. and thus the most mediocre of all staged a hostile takeover of our government by economic force so that they could institute counterrevolution and maintain their control in perpetuity.

This US Congress has fully abdicated its power, the Supreme Court is actively eroding the structures of federal law, and the President is directing a mass kidnapping effort targeting immigrants

📣 Germany's close to reversing its opposition to mass surveillance & private message scanning, & backing the Chat Control bill. This could end private comms-& Signal-in the EU.

Time's short and they're counting on obscurity: please let German politicians know how horrifying their reversal would be.
We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe. signal.org/blog/pdfs/ge...

The only true power in this world is either social or mechanical. Getting people to do things you want, or amplifying your physical force by getting behind the controls of something. People deprived of social power who have access to mechanical power (guns) lash out with the means available.

The human right to access information should trump the intellectual property right to restrict it

The Republican party enthusiastically tramples human rights in defense of property rights. The centrist wing of the Democratic party tries to find room for human rights but still sees property rights as supreme. Only a handful of representatives actually put humanity first.

We have the technology for everyone to have an account with the central bank. Then you could just let everyone borrow up to a certain amount each month, setting the interest rate at whatever the economy needs.

Oh hey look, good news!
Next year, the EU will require cars to have buttons & dials -- not just touchscreens -- to get a top safety rating.

This is a great move. Drivers can fiddle with knobs & buttons without taking their eyes off the road, but they can't do that with touchscreens.

(Even better: Tesla will hate this)
Cars will need fewer screens and more buttons to earn five-star safety rating in Europe
Euro NCAP will release new testing guidelines in 2026.

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.

Smashed records.
