The government must work with our European partners on retaliatory measures to hit Trump and his cronies where it hurts, unless he drops these tariffs.

It's time to show that Britain stands with our allies and we won’t be bullied into submission.

I think the White House badly underestimates the strength of the pan-European folk memory of 1930s appeasement, and how deep it still cuts. I suppose this is what happens when you learn in school that WW2 started in 1941 in Hawaii.

So Nigel Farage, who turned up to 1 out of 43 Fishing Ministery meetings as an MEP, who doesn’t hold constituency surgeries, who frequently doesn’t attend PMQs today doesn’t attend his leaders interview on Kuenssberg.

It seems he loves contentious shit stirring but not accountability or democracy.

So it sounds like Farage is feeling the pressure over his previous praising of Trump.

He's running scared and cancelled an appearance on the BBC this morning at short notice.

Farage and Reform are on the way out! Time for the country to reject him entirely, once and for all.

Exactly, Ed.
The PM must tell Trump in no uncertain terms: if he goes ahead with these outrageous tariffs and continues to bully Greenland, there’ll be no state visit to the US in April.

The UK must not be a doormat for an extortionist, or reward Trump’s behaviour with the pageantry he craves.
