Very sad to hear of the passing of David Lynch. Lost Highway made a huge impression on me when it came out, completely blew my mind. Elephant Man is pure art and Wild at Heart brings me joy. I even have a forbidden love for his 1984 Dune. Rest in weirdness, sir.

It's wildly irresponsible that Apple doesn't turn off summaries for news apps until it gets a bit better at this AI thing.

You know how at a party, if a conversation gets taken over by rude, boring people, the nice people just quietly excuse themselves and start a better conversation in the kitchen?

I feel like we need to do that with the global monetary system.

It’s time for THE charger.

Today, the USB-C becomes officially the common standard for charging new mobile electronic devices in the EU.

It means better-charging technology, reduced e-waste, and less fuss to find the chargers you need!

That a dude with a couple cameras and a plate of appetizers can make something worth $82.5 million and a media company looks at that and goes "couldn't we make even more money if we had AI do it?" tells you exactly how stupid these people are
The $82.5 million sale of "Hot Ones" studio First We Feast is part of a broader strategy at BuzzFeed to shift away from human editors, writers and content producers in favor of artificial intelligence, which result in "high-margin, tech-enabled revenue lines."
