Had the pleasure of drawing a Dapper Mothman for a birthday comm a few months back for a friend of @mudkip-detective.bsky.social !

A soft gray mothman with long fluffy antennas gives a courteous bow and a debonair wink. He has prominent pincers and a light fluffy ruff of fur around his collar, and long claws on his hands and legs. His wings, likewise to the tailcoat he wears, sport stark red symmetrical ring patterns such as eye mimicry in nature. He is lit from behind by the sulphur bright full moon, as well as several bright blue tiny moth friends that give off their own gentle glow to match the starry backdrop behind them.

NVidia chief creep says resistance and scorn for AI have done a lot of harm. Good. Nice confirmation it's working. Keep it up. Although the main thing is this stuff is harmful crap so the mind and body tend to revolt against it automatically.

It is with great pleasure that I begin dming a new dnd campaign, and thereby can begin introducing a new cast and crew of npcs.
The story takes place at a famous opera house- The Theatre Macabre, and among the first of its denizens is the noble Tiberious Basalt, its reknowned Maestro.
A simplistic character sheet for a black tiger tabaxi named Tiberious Basalt. It includes a sketch portrait of his face from the front and a colored sketch of his full body from the side. Tiberious wears a sharply tailored dark suit with tails and a crimson red undershirt, cummerbund, and pinstriped spats over his paws. He stands rigidly upright, baton in one hand while the other is behind hia back. His fur is deep gray with black tiger stripes although his paws, undertail, chin and mutton chops are white. He wears a small pair of tinted gold spectacles and a red rose in his lapel.

Had to do some updated art for Constable seeing as the little guy lives with us now.
His dnd self is still ringleading his ragtag crew of runaways and roustabouts.
...And his kitten self I think speaks for himself. (Fiesty!)

I had a lark of a time drawing the terrible Don Vallus stylized as one of @/puddleorganism (tumblr!) Sunseeker species from their comic and world building project Run Away to the Stars!
A wyvern-esque white dragon with a pointed snout and feathery crest. He has gill like vents down his serpentine neck and four feathered wings at different flexed positions. recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best. It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. I am always sadly surprised by the number of people around me that will denounce gen a/i and then try to explain that they 'only use it for...' as if they get to exist as the one its ok for. Like as long as the task is mundane or a bit of a chore for them that justifies the use.

Even the most well intentioned and "uniformed" studios/publishers etc needs to feel a flame so hot when they touch on this that they're scarred for life, I'm sorry.

The collateral damage being a studio's *reputation* is nothing compared to the creatives whose work was stolen just to replace them.

Today my township had a meeting about a new data center rezone for gen ai business. I went with my partner to state our feelings. I assumed it would be a small turn out and an awkward thing- a room of much older folks looking to discuss other topics.
