Beta tests being available are the only reasons whe can see these characters in action and plan accordingly and I truly wish people didn't take advantage of that.

If the leaker community is more quiet and less drama farmy after this, good! But usually that's not what happens. Either those leakers don't come back and some series become total pariahs that no one will touch them in the future.

2. While the general public is not supposed to see leaks, leaks are incredibly helpful for pulling and planning new releases. I only invested in specific characters in 2.0 onwards because of leaks.

My opinion on the HSR situation is that it's not black and white. Two things can be true:
1. Many Leakers like HDC absolutely abused their position and farmed for drama. If the lawsuit about them extorting others leakers is also accurate, shame on them.

God is the Carraway quest at Greenthumbs depressing. Almost all the quests are extremely depressing in this game but this is surprisingly realistic and down to earth. Probably the most human quest in all of DQ.

Rover's past coming to haunt them is something I wanted to see more of and with Aemeath it is especially heartbreaking. Imagine the last connection you had to tour humanity essentially doing the same, forgetting you? I'd crash out, too.

You basically get what you want, but in exchange, no one remembers you, you're trapped forever never being able to sleep, eat or interact with anyone, people assume the make you left on the world meant nothing, and yours essentially not alive anymore.
