Antisemitism is a lot like Qanon child abuse conspiracies in that there’s this real and bad phenomenon and, parallel to that, what can only be described as a large scale mass psychosis about a mostly fictional version of the same phenomenon

After almost 9 years of doing it, it’s still really cool to me that I send emails to musicians, they say “sign me up!”, butts go in seats for rehearsal, and everyone makes really great music together.

I think the thing I observe most when I’m with my kid at a playground, park, whatever, is that other kids want their adult(s) to play with them and participate so badly. Instead, people are checked out, face down in their phones.

I’m happy for cooler temps but now my whole shit is ruined. Had a great routine for months: toddler wakes up too early, we take an hour-long walk with the dog, head to the playground, maybe visit a retail establishment, head home for nap.
