The US government is now freely killing people at sea, in other lands, and on its own streets.

It is difficult to see what more is needed for Congress and the Supreme Court to exercise their constitutional duty to check and balance what is now a rogue state abroad and a gangster state at home.

A very common goal of illegal threats to use force is avoiding actual use of force, by coercing the threatened state into making the desired concessions -- like selling something they don't want to sell. That's why the UN Charter prohibits them, in the same article prohibiting uses of force.

Oil, conflict, and climate change – there is a direct connection.
The real kicker here is that if US companies do succeed in ramping up Venezuela’s oil, it’s some of the dirtiest and most carbon intensive in the world. And it’s cheap to produce (PdVSA says $5/barrel, probably closer to $25).

The 🇺🇸 started an int armed conflict with Venezuela, without plausible legal justification. “Leaders lacking legitimacy” or failing to “fight organized crime” are not apt justifications that could turn bombing a country into anything but an aggression violating Art2(4) of the UN Charter.

It’s so exhausting and relentless but we have to keep bearing witness. This is a further attenuation of every Palestinian’s right to humanitarian assistance by a different means.
Dismayed to hear that #Israel will suspend the operations of several humanitarian and INGOs. This harms the organizations but also it put in risk communities that will lose access to essential services. On top of the ongoing genocide, this deepens the vulnerability of thousands of Palestinians. 1/
