Pizza and a movie night.
- Pizza: Tombstone bacon cheddar with a french fry crust
- Movie: Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (d. Howard Hawks 1953)
Fun fact: Hawks didn't direct the music and dance numbers.
"I didn't have any desire to."
Monroe was paid $18K.
Russell was paid $200K.

Cable management can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. I have been on the fence about the way I approach my #RetroGaming. Sure it's nice to have immediate access to a bunch of systems, but it would also be nice to save some space in the room and pull them out as needed and put em away.

TIL about the Erfurt latrine disaster of 1184 AD, when too many nobles gathered for a party and the floor gave way dropping them into the latrine below. Sixty nobles died.
Thanks to @scalzi.com and his book "When the Moon Hits Your Eye" for this information which I was reading while eating lunch.

The second most fun thing to watch is Sarah Marie Dillard, who did the musical 'tweeners for the show, breaking up in laughter during Marty's monologues.
I just uploaded the video from last night’s Marty Monologues Show from Kenny's Westside. Thanks to everyone who came to the show! Huge thanks to Sarah Marie Dillard who was the musical talent & co-star of the show!

in 1978, I got terribly sick while on my pediatrics rotation.
For TEN YEARS after that I was quite well until my daughter started daycare in 1988.
Then I developed a fever of 102° F for THREE WEEKS.
I almost became the dreaded FUO (fever of unknown origin) that we learned about in medical school.

Caldwell 1, the Polarissima Cluster, is 5° from Polaris, the North Star.
Most open clusters drift apart after a few millions years. C 1 is 6.8 billion years old because it is far above the galactic disc and well away from the gravitational influence of the galactic core.

FFS. I'm beginning to wonder if the Republicans already have 8 votes to kill the ACA completely and replace it with Trump checks in one fell swoop.
