This big maple tree is my favorite tree on the farm. It is old with a huge crown with bright red leaves in the fall. I'm going to be sad if its life ends before it's my time to leave the farm. Today's picture.

Fun fact: Stephen Stills was considered for The Monkees, but producers didn't think he was pretty enough and would need major dental work which they couldn't afford. Stills then recommended a musician friend of his, Peter Tork.
Happy Birthday to Stephen Stills born January 3, 1945. Former member of Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
He wrote this song about his imminent breakup with his former girlfriend , singer/songwriter, Judy Collins.

For our New Year's Eve, we are watching This Is Spinal Tap while enjoying dim sum, gimbap, shumai, pretzel bites and pizza rolls. We were going to make sandwiches with miniature bread, but it just didn't work.
