After buying it for $18.8 billion, Walgreens' new private equity owner has eliminated paid holidays for all hourly workers on Christmas and New Year's.

Last year, Walgreens had a CEO-to-Worker pay gap of 410 to 1.

Corporate greed that would make even Scrooge blush.

The horrific tragedy in Minneapolis is a repeat of other horrifying mass casualty events.

Knowing there’s no political will to tackle the underlying problems driving this epidemic, please consider:

1. Donating blood. It’s life saving

2. Get trained in basic life support. It can also save a life

What they've done to LA and are doing to DC they want to do to a city near you. We know this becasue they are saying it; and we know this because they just greenlighted $171 billion more for their secret police.
Comer: "We're gonna support doing this in other cities if it works out in Washington DC. We spend a lot on our military. Our military has been in many countries around the world for the past two decades walking the streets trying to reduce crime. We need to focus on the big cities in America now."

$3.4 billion

That’s how much Trump & his family have profited from his presidency, estimates David Kirkpatrick.

A comprehensive estimate of how much Trump and his family are making, from hotel mega-deals to crypto schemes, has been elusive—until now.

Congrats to Lisa Murkowski on voting for a bill that she herself admitted was not ready in hopes that the House would change it. Now it’ll become law. She had the power to stop it, and instead chose to become complicit. That’s her legacy.

Hopefully this puts to bed a whole lot of misconceptions. Like Republicans being good people, fiscally responsible people, people of faith, and that they're policies are for the working people and their families.
I truly hope this puts a definitive end to the perpetual insistence by Democrats that they can compromise with Republicans. You can't. These people are extreme, depraved, and shameless. They just stripped healthcare from 17 million people to give themselves a tax cut.

I think going to war with Iran is a terrible idea, but no one believes this “two weeks” bit. He’s used it a million times before to pretend he might be doing something he’s not. It just makes America look weak and silly.

For Trump, a military conflict with Iran would distract from:

-Sinking poll numbers
-A devastating (and unpopular) budget bill
-Harmful trade wars
-Unleashing the military on American soil
-Millions of people protesting his authoritarianism

One of my companies informed me they cancelled a $2m conference in Florida. Why ?

They didn’t feel they could pass on the incremental cost of tariffs. So they are cutting expenses.

That’s a city that lost a ton of tourism revenue.

The cost of tariffs isn’t just the cost of the tariff
