I have rarely encountered a less useful feature than a website deciding that posts (or entire accounts!) meet the nebulous definition of “rude” by some asshole I’ll never meet and shares none of my values.
Can not emphasise enough how much you should go to your moderation settings and turn off hiding for the 「 rude 」 label
All the moderation here sucks but this, in particular, is systematically abused by Aaron the so-called head of 「 trust and safety 」 here at BS.

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

this reminds me of iraq in 2003, where a disputed element allows the conversation to skate past the actual crux. were R’s lying about WMD? sure, but even if a country has weapons, attacking them is unjustified if they didn’t attack you first. it doesn’t *matter* how bad their weapons are.
The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.
