Starting to believe that playing BB in week one is like playing 2 chips at the same time, ie a WC/FH and a BB. BB is normally bollocks all help for me anyway, so this is feeling like a decent idea.

Felt it was time to shake off the hibernation. Regularly panic into a week 2/3 Wildcard. (Usually because of “what the @$ do you mean he didn’t start” moments). This year, it feels like a bonafide strategy.

Sad to hear of the passing of Brian James, legendary founding member and brilliant riffmeister guitarist of The Damned.
Brian wrote ‘New Rose’, the first ever punk single to be released in the UK in 1976. RIP Brian.

So, having had Isak for 7 weeks and deciding that he was the wrong side of a 50/50 Captain pick every week, I decided that this week was the week I finally wised up………….. I am too old for this 🙄

Here's my updated schedule spreadsheet.
DGW24 has been confirmed for Everton & Liverpool.
I think there's a chance that Fulham & Spurs Double in GW25.
Fulham & Spurs would only have a chance of Doubling in GW25 if Spurs reach the EFL Cup Final and finish in the top 8 of the Europa League group.

Every fpl season, their omnipotence likes to randomly screw with us, but it generally evens out. Clearly distracted with world events,those rules no longer apply and some of us are getting a shafting. Time for something new; WC activated and hoping to score before they notice.
