To give you an idea of how ridiculous the gerrymandering in Nashville is, here’s our district. They diluted a third of Nashville into a rural area about 50 times as large that extends north to the Kentucky border and about a third of the length of the state to the east.

Hungarian healthcare isn't doing well after a decade of underfunding. This winter, the heating in most hospitals stopped working. A father complained about his son freezing in a hospital on facebook. According to the US Coast Guard, the year prior to Trump changing our policy to summary execution, only 21% of the vessels interdicted by them off the coast of Venezuela suspected of trafficking drugs had drugs on board. The other 79% had nothing. But now we just kill them all.

I had a gay male nurse during my early transition - old enough to have grey hair. He told me he thought us younger queer folks are wonderful and brave, and I had a surprise cry. I’d never been spoken to like that by an older queer person. The AIDS epidemic stole from all of us.
