important editorial mandate from this morning's weekly @futurism.com meeting

This is absolutely the right response at this point. The ADL has abandoned its right to be taken seriously as a voice of the American Jewish community. Politicians should absolutely meet with a diverse array of Jewish constituents. But the ADL must be ignored and dismissed until it loses influence.
A ‘Mamdani Monitor’?? Zohran RESPONDS to the ADL’s Jonathan Greenblatt for vowing to “track” his admin for antisemitism.

“I have some doubts in Jonathan's ability to do so honestly, given that he previously said I had not visited any synagogues only to have to correct himself.”

You are actually allowed to protect your peace.
people who earnestly try to argue that blocking certain accounts deprives u of important opposing viewpoints are assuming these certain accounts are posting in good faith
which is a dangerous assumption tbh

Nvidia isn’t the only Western company worried about an increasingly independent PRC, but it is an important bellwether. In fact, the CEO’s lust for economic superiority and geopolitical dominance over China follows over 125 years of US meddling in the nation’s affairs.
Nvidia Is Quaking in Its Boots
In a recent podcast appearance, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang agonized that China is now "nanoseconds behind" US chipmakers.

This is the entire thing.
I would add to this that traditional newsrooms employ lots of people to do forms of journalism that have value but are unlikely to be profitable as standalone products.
As more journalists are driven out of their jobs, I keep hearing this drumbeat of "it's ok -- they can start their own newsletter or publication." Some can. But becoming your own business is a huge job, and will eliminate many talented reporters from the public sphere. Here's why. (1/5)

When we reached out, Gannett said the articles are produced by way of "natural language generation," confirming the use of AI (coupled with templates, which Gannett clarified were edited by regional editors after being first created by a singular Gannett employee.)
