本書のポイントは２つ！

第１に、珍しい「子ども向け（大人も楽しめる）カンブリアの古生物図鑑」（エディアカラもいます）です。
　
第２に、「でっかくなぁ〜る」は「50倍」という値がキモ。
カンブリア紀のサカナ（遠いご先祖さま）を50倍すると、小学校高学年の平均身長とほぼ同じ。
つまり、「ご先祖が感じていたアノマロのサイズ感は、小学生が学校のプールを見た時のサイズ感に匹敵」。
50倍で現代社会に配置で擬似体験、という試みです。
