What about your irresponsible and useless GST abolition on new residential construction? Make it make sense. You're both being irresponsible but somehow only Trudeau is getting lectured.
Poilievre says Conservatives will vote against Liberals' 'irresponsible' GST holiday | CBC News
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says his party will vote against the Liberal government’s proposed tax holiday, calling it “irresponsible and inflationist.”

A whole lot of 'progressives' who think - despite all the evidence to the contrary (i.e. Doug Ford, Danielle Smith, etc.) - that somehow we're 'better' or 'smarter' than Americans, and won't elect destructive right-wing populists to power. It's astounding, and so far the worst part of this site.

Pierre Poilievre is the principal beneficiary of the very foreign interference he’s been ignoring.

“Despite significant evidence of foreign interference from Russia and India, Poilievre refuses to get security clearance so he can pretend it doesn’t exist.”

The so-called “stigma” around public transit is mostly/usually a warning light for bad transit service levels. If transit has good service levels (frequency, connectivity, reliability etc) then anyone rides it because it’s a viable choice. If not, it’s ridden mostly by those without other choices.

The Toronto “bikelash” is negligible in Toronto itself, where city council voted 21-4 in favor of keeping its bike lanes.

It’s due to angry suburbanites who want to overrule city residents’ transportation decisions.

Bloomberg, Aug '24: With Trudeau at the helm, Canada became an international trade powerhouse, boosting exports by 45% since 2015. Imports increased 3.6% annually, meaning Canada sold goods and services faster than it bought. That's a reversal from the prior 15 yrs.

Les Conservateurs n'ont pas les intérêts du Canadien moyen à coeur. Ils veulent juste des baisses d'impôts à tout prix...même si le prix est la qualité de vie des plus vulnérables de nos concitoyens et l'érosion de la classe moyenne.
As of today, here is a list of programs/investments the CPC Party plans on cutting if elected, these are programs that are working for Canadians but they don’t care:

Housing Accelerator Fund
Affordable Housing
Pharmacare
National Dental Care Program

Fun linguistics tidbit:

Mark Hamill signing his name Mar🐫 because in English /p, t, k/ sounds at the beginning of a stressed syllable are pronounced aspirated, ie with an extra breathy sound (the same sound that's h when it's by itself)

So Mark Hamill is pronounced the same as Mar Camel
