I've been told that many people with DSDs resent being co-opted to support the idea that sex is a spectrum.
All DSDs are sex-specific.
Kehlif isn't disqualified because of intersex status, but because of male advantage conferred by an active SRY gene.
You and I are disqualified for the same reason.

She is and has always been a woman. She is NOT male, but intersex. If being intersex is automatic disqualification for competition in sports, then you're just discriminating against people for things they cannot control. Its akin to saying Black people shouldn't be allowed to compete against whites.
The crux here is that Kehlif is technically male (5-ARD is a male-specific DSD) and has male advantage which should disqualify them from the Female category.

Replies are off for everybody. And an intersex woman with XY chromosomes is not a man. She is intersex. Intersex is a catchall sex category for people who have traits of men and women. Thus, not trans. Yet, I see people referring to her as a man despite being born, raised, and living as a woman.

She is an intersex woman with male genes that increases her testosterone, but she was always born and raised as a woman and (likely) has female genitalia. She has never been a man. When you insist on a male/female binary, you're erasing intersex people like Imane who don't fit into a neat box.

What I hear from multiple sources in the Scottish Government is that it feels defeated by the limitless spending power of the transphobes who, of course, are explicitly or implicitly underwritten by JK Rowling's vast fortune.
What do you think why the Scottish Government has been targeted, such as Darlington nurses, NHS Fife?
Has Scotland really devolved? Was the Scottish Government allowed to implement its self identity legistlation or blocked by the former government? Devolution in the UK is a joke.
