I kinda doubt anyone will be a suitable ruler for Venezuela while trump still thinks he is acting president of the place.

Everyone with authority must speak out now against Trump's depravity and lawlessness.

Every Democratic leader.

Every university, professional association, charity, and foundation head.

Every CEO.

Every religious leader.

If they don't, history will condemn their cowardice and complicity.

I highly doubt there there is any way to do ethnic cleansing and have positive optics.
So the president doesn’t like the “optics” of what ICE is doing. But there’s no such thing as sanitized, popular mass deportations—and that’s because it’s a campaign of deliberate terror.

If you live in America right now and you aren't political, you are tacitly give your consent to our government's latest attempts at ethnic cleansing.

SEE???

"You know his play book.. he floats an idea like this and if there is pushback, he claims its a joke, and if he gets away with saying something so awful, he repeats it with increasing seriousness until it become policy." GAWD so pretentious to quote yourself.
“When you think of it, we shouldn’t even have an election,” Trump told Reuters, a remark similar to one he made speaking to Republicans last week.

“The president was simply joking,” Leavitt explained.

“Are you saying the president finds the idea of cancelling elections funny?” trib.al/aTaH6h6

The old constitutional order is gone, and we should be straightforward about that. It’s becoming obvious that, whatever else is on the reconstruction agenda, ICE abolition must be included.

For goodness’ sake, Bill Kristol is in favor of it. Can you really not get there? trib.al/rPjQYKp

Certain quarters being Democrat leadership?
This shouldn't require saying, but we highlight polls at a time like this because 1) it's heartening to see the American people rejecting fascism, which inspires more to join; and 2) because Ds are under pressure from certain quarters NOT to engage, so we need to let them know what the people want.

The Trump-Vance administration just used your taxes to pay for an ICE agent to do this to a 21-year-old kid, who was only protesting because another ICE agent killed a mother of three, who was only there because ICE agents are kidnapping your neighbors

“It's some deep psychological thing, but when you win the presidency, you don't win the midterms,” Trump said. He boasted that he had accomplished so much that “when you think of it, we shouldn't even have an election.”

I'm convinced that if there were a magic wand that would instantly return everyone to wherever ICE thinks they are supposed to be no one would use it because they don't want an absence of immigrants they want to brutalize, terrorize, and kill people on an immigration pretext.
