Neither are completely blameless, but one side has shown clear patterns of ignoring law (via recissions) and not honoring prior deals. With an honest opposition, this wouldn’t have at least lasted as long.

I'm old enough to remember when this happened before, and no-one really paid any penalty for it. www.pbs.org/newshour/pol...

You do! Thanks for the info.

I do give Frontiers some credit for planning to include a statement with each article generated in part with AI. All journals should do so, IMO.

However, voluntarily giving them a lab dataset for them to use for generating a paper via their own AI engine? Absolutely the f*ck not.

While I appreciate the sentiment, there's a visual I REALLY didn't need... ew.

Funny that MSNBC is still saying, “too close to call.”

Maya Angelou: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”

With apologies for generalities and stereotyping: women are looking for partners; men are looking for “partners.”

Not to mention, no-one trusts TFG not to do a recission on even any agreed-upon funding.

That seems… inefficient, at best? At least orcas eat white shark livers, arguably the most energetically valuable organ.

That’s not… dating.

She, Tapper, Welker, and others are giving off this vibe lately… and it’s not a good look.

It’s well beyond time that we start asking questions to people like Norah O’Donnell as well.

Sure would be helpful to have a functioning State Department right now.

Also lost in this whole discussion is how SNAP helps support US agriculture -- you know, the farmers everyone's always saying we should focus on electorally.

Not to mention the persistent "Democrat" instead of the proper adjective of "Democratic." They do indeed know better, but "owning the libs" always wins for these assh*les.

TFG doesn’t understand these subtleties… but Miller surely does.

What’s interesting is that Sec State Rubio — who knows better — is apparently sidelined and certainly silent.

FFS, no-one ever “accidentally” does anything Nazi-like.

Not. Often. Enough.

In case anyone is wondering: yes, exactly this.
Yes, I want my tax dollars going to feed and house people. Those are some of the best uses of my tax dollars, in fact.

No-one, unless you’re in that (maybe) upper 5% income bracket. My wife and I are both working professionals, and that increase would wreck us financially.

It does feel like there’s a list of “questions that shall not be asked” for national media, many of which — like yours here — seem mind-bogglingly obvious.

Pterygiophore?

One can certainly hope, but “assumes facts not (yet) in evidence.”
