Preparing the justification.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio will designate Cartel de los Soles as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation.

“Headed by the illegitimate Nicolás Maduro, the group has corrupted the institutions of government in Venezuela and is responsible for terrorist violence…”

If they have ongoing investigations, those documents can't be released. So this might be a big smokescreen."

Has the Budget rumour-mill gone too far?

Excessive 'kite-flying' - leaking rumoured tax policies to test their reaction with the public - risks exacerbating market uncertainty.

I think people are missing the point with this Epstein thing.

The question is not did he have sex with underaged girls. He did.

The question is not did he have illegal financial transactions with Epstein. He did.

The question is not did he serve as an asset and agent of Putin. He did.

One of the most maddening aspects of Trump’s deranged personality is what an abject coward he is & has always been. No public events today; hops on AF1 & flies down to Mar-a-Lago to hang out w/his fellow trash. He’s is in trouble and he will hide, that’s not a POTUS it’s a PAB.

Why all the talk about leadership challenges misses the point that the biggest problem facing this Government is not just a lack of leadership but a lack of clear ideas about what a Labour Government is actually for

Until that changes, the question of who sits in No 10 will remain a hollow one.
Labour's Biggest Problem Is Not a Lack of Leadership but a Lack of Ideas
Until Keir Starmer's party decides what it really stands for, the question of who leads them will remain a hollow one, argues Adam Bienkov

I love Wag the Dog, it’s one of my favorite movies, not least because it was made as a Clinton joke and works even better as a Bush joke. The “We are the World” dig holds up, as does Dustin Hoffman’s Robert Evans impression.

But it’s about faking a war as a distraction, not a real diversionary war.

Fewer than 40 names—just 2.4%—were circled.
