Parts of Wales have been badly hit by floods over recent weeks.

Unfortunately, such severe weather events are becoming more and more frequent.

Today, @benlake.bsky.social called for a central resilience fund to provide emergency support for any communities affected in future.

A storm cloud looms over one of the ramparts round the vastest hillfort in #Wales, Penycloddiau, in the Clwydian Range. Taken last summer, I really thought I was going to get heavily p*ssed on, but it passed over and did so on the other side of the hills instead.

In Welsh mythology, white is traditionally the colour of the beasts of Annwn, the Otherworld.
It is the colour of Rhiannon's magical steed, the enchanted boar tracked by Pryderi and Manawydan, and the white-furred, red-eared Cŵn Annwn, dubbed "Hell Hounds" by Christian storytellers.

Mae San Steffan yn dal i wrthod rhoi £4BN i Gymru o HS2.

Gyda'r arian hwn, gallai ein system drafnidiaeth a'n cymunedau elwa'n economaidd - drwy gysylltu'n cenedl o'r de i'r gogledd, o'r dwyrain i'r gorllewin.

Byddai llywodraeth Plaid Cymru yn gweithio dros Gymru gyfan.

Dim ond Plaid Cymru sydd yn sefyll fyny dros ein cymunedau. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💚

Westminster continues to deny Wales £4BN from HS2.

With this funding, we could unlock our economic potential by investing properly in our transport network - connecting communities from north to south, east to west.

Plaid Cymru will be a government that works for the whole of Wales.
