Plaid Cymru called for bold action on the cost of living crisis

But Labour's dishonest tax rises and a failure to cut energy bills means ordinary people will pay the price once again 😠

Mae cyllideb Llafur heddiw yn cadarnhau’r hyn rydyn ni eisoes yn ei wybod - pan mai San Steffan sy’n gwneud y cyfri, bydd Cymru ar ei cholled.

Nid dyma’r gorau y gall pethau fod i Gymru.

Bydd Plaid Cymru bob amser yn sefyll cornel ein cymunedau ac yn mynnu gwell 💚

Labour’s Budget confirms what we already know - when Westminster does the counting, Wales loses out.

This is not as good as it gets for Wales.

Plaid Cymru will always stand up for our communities and demand better 💚

It’s a disgrace 1 in 4 people in Wales are in fuel poverty. Everyone should have the right to be warm and healthy in their homes.

Mae'n gywilyddus bod 1 o bob 4 o bobl yng Nghymru mewn tlodi tanwydd. Dylai pawb gael yr hawl i fod yn dwym ac i aros yn iach yn eu cartrefi.

Our winter Scandinavian visitors, the Fieldfare and Redwing, were out in large numbers on the lunchtime walk today in freezing conditions. Also a few Meadow Pipits. The Montgomeryshire Canal is frozen over again.

Nothing in Labour’s Budget changes the fundamental unfairness facing Wales.

Labour has given up on Wales.

Plaid Cymru is the only party standing up for our communities, demanding the fairness and ambition that Wales needs and deserves 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Does dim byd yn y Gyllideb hon gan Lafur sy’n newid yr annhegwch sylfaenol sy’n wynebu Cymru.

Mae Llafur wedi rhoi’r gorau i frwydro dros Gymru.

Plaid Cymru yw’r unig blaid sy’n sefyll cornel ein cymunedau, gan fynnu’r tegwch a’r uchelgais y mae Cymru ei angen ac yn ei haeddu 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Responding to today's budget announcement, YesCymru Chair Phyl Griffiths said:

“Today’s Budget has shown that the promised ‘Red Welsh Way’ leads straight to a Westminster dead end.

The message is clear – Westminster will never work for Wales.”

Wales is a net exporter of energy - yet people here still pay some of the highest energy bills in the UK.

Today’s Budget changes none of that.

We deserve fairness, and control over our own resources.

Stefan Benarroch, two years below Farage at school, has told the Guardian that Ettedgui "was such a gentle soul and Farage – Farage made his life a fucking nightmare." He has also alleged Farage would hang outside where a Jewish service was held to identify and taunt other Jewish boys.

(No Truce with the Furies, @BloodaxeBooks)
Evening

The archer with time
as his arrow – has he broken
his strings that the rainbow
is so quiet over our village?

Let us stand, then, in the interval
of our wounding, till the silence
turn golden and love is
a moment eternally overflowing.

For a chilly 🥶 #HillfortsWednesday I thought everyone could warm their toes on this Iron Age fire, crackling & smoking inside the Bryn Eryr roundhouse at St Fagans Museum yesterday 🥰🔥

Despite having only one fire this double roundhouse was warm & cosy, a pretty good place to live!

Addawyd i Gymru y byddai pethau’n gwella o dan ‘partneriaeth mewn grym’ Llafur.

Ond, ry’ ni’n dal i golli allan ar y biliynau o HS2, dim rheolaeth dros ein adnoddau naturiol, a’n talu’r pris yn fwy na neb am drethi Llafur.

Mae Plaid Cymru yn galw am degwch yn y Gyllideb hon 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Wales was promised that things would improve under Labour’s ‘partnership in power’.

But Wales still hasn’t received the billions owed from HS2, no control over our natural resources, and hit hardest by Labour’s taxes.

In today’s Budget, Plaid Cymru is calling for fairness 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Celebrating Tachwedd!

A whole year has gone by since the first single from 'Elan' came out. Tachwedd is the Welsh name for November and comes from an old word for 'slaughter'. This song celebrates the beauty of autumn but warns to brace yourself for the coming darkness...

Last night the Government steamrollered its Planning Bill through, slamming the door on vital protections for nature.

They said it would be a ‘win-win’ for the economy and nature.

But in reality, they’ve pushed nature into last place.

Cnoc Raithní • Inis Oírr

This unusual feature, with its two upstanding pillar stones, marks a burial mound that was rediscovered and excavated in 1885 after a storm blew away the sand that covered it.

The dig revealed Bronze Age urns and human remains that were dated to c.1500 BC.
