espresso machine was not pouring. narrowed it down to a blocked metal filter bowl thing. tried the usual to unblock it (vinegar soak etc.), no dice. put it on the hob for 30 seconds and the steam inside, between exit and entrance holes, forced out the stuck bits. win 🏆
