Happy New Year all. 2025 was another really hard one for me. The last couple years have been just... heartbreaking and hard.
2026 will still be challenging, but yenno what?
We don't have to do 2025 again. That one's over. All done. The next steps might be difficult, but we're still moving forward.

This year has been a real shift for me in many ways. I finally, fully gave up on the career I spent so much of my life pursuing (working in the industry). & decided to, in extreme financial uncertainty focus entirely on my convention work. Its been hard, tiering, stressful but extremely rewarding!

It took four hours and so much disassembly but I closed on the patient and they turn on again and the fan is no longer making a weird noise.
It's still unsettling to me that a computer can still run while almost completely disassembled. The patient should be asleep while their guts are all over the floor.

Funny animal videos no longer being trustworthy just fucking sucks all around. I love the wonder of animal behavior and what it says about the experience of being alive. It's because it happened in reality that it's so fun. It's not fun if it was just made up. There's no wonder there.
