Canada is the democratic frontline.
Dark actors are trying to undermine our sovereignty and break the country apart.
All politicians must step up.
Why is Pierre Poilievre refusing to do his part?
His refusal to get national security clearance is irresponsible.

Opinion | Kari Lake stops Radio Free Europe from broadcasting into Iran over politics
The Trump loyalist said she denied the outlet access to a transmitter because it had failed to “align their message” with Trump’s foreign policy.

Four GOP Senators.

At most four Repubs in the House.

Together they could stop nearly all the mad-king's rampages. They would be known to history as Profiles in Courage. They might/would lose the next election. But people have sacrificed a lot more, for a lot less.
I can't repeat this enough.
I've said this before and I'll say it again.
It would only take a tiny handful of Republican Congress members or senators to stop the slide of America toward authoritarian fascism, but nope. They're all in.

Allow me to connect some dots for you:

Too much of the world currently relies for its basic functions on resources which must be continuously extracted. You burn that oil one time and oops, now you need more.

Geopolitical horrors are, in fact, one of the reasons we need to move to renewables ASAP.

Many hundreds of people were out protesting in my sleepy corner of the burbs, in fact there were four demonstrations along a roughly five mile stretch of road going through three towns you've never heard of.

So that's pretty cool. And pretty good.

Watching the evacuations and local air quality. I wish media wouldn't just tell people to shelter and "breathe easy" but let them know that KN95 masks offer some protections against tiny smoke particles while outdoors. Not gases (obvs!), but I understand those don't carry as far as particles do.
