Only thirteen (13) Labour MPs voted in favour.

Tell me again how Labour are gonna pivot to rejoin "as soon as in power", like the Labour apologists promised in the run up to GE24- which was a while ago now.
Fortunately David Lammy you have the chance to vote for a customs union by backing our bill next week.

See you in the Aye lobby?

It's been time to remove the red tape for at least four years, but at least it's being mentioned now
It’s time to chainsaw the Brexit red tape and end the cost of living crisis. Labour MPs should back our plan for a new customs union.

This should be a wake up call to Keir Starmer. Trump is not a reliable ally.

Trump wants to weaken Europe and carve up Ukraine while cosying up to Putin. Britain and our allies in Europe must stand together against his threats and bullying.

Lib Dems once again fighting for the correct thing to be done while Labour pretend it's impossible and need their arms twisting.

I'm glad I don't vote Labour.
🚨BREAKING🚨

MPs have voted to PASS our bill to establish a UK-EU customs union.

The Prime Minister must now listen to his own MPs, drop his self-imposed red lines and finally go for proper growth through an ambitious trade deal with the EU.

I've said for years that the customs union idea will just confuse things.
1. People are mixing up "a" customs union with "The" Customs Union.
2. Neither is the Single Market.
3. Neither solves the major problems.
4. Neither includes Freedom of Movement.
5. Neither can be explained on the doorstep.

FFS. If the far right had been this lukewarm and timid, they'd never have got their Brexit! This isn't the time to say what CAN'T be done, it's a time to decide what you want and to fight to make it happen. It's time to grasp that politics is the art of the possible! Fortune favours the brave!

No one’s fallen on their sword.
No one’s got the guts to really speak out.
So, on we go, protecting this huge and ruinous lie, because telling the truth is too difficult.

Labour still haven't grasped that FoM is essential and it is also very popular with those who understand it.
The 1st § of this @stellacreasy.bsky.social piece ↑ ↓ I can agree with.

But the second, on a Customs Union and the Single Market, is just feeble in its lack of aspiration.
