Issues around the “not political” voters
This is very cool and interesting and helpful. My only quibble is this finding should not be surprising! to anyone! Tons of normal voters mostly do not have coherent ideologies, particularly at the issue level. They want a jumble of stuff.

Totally agree. It’s time to stop assuming defeat around every corner
lot of people on this app seem really committed to the notion that nothing damaging will come out of the Epstein files.

let yourself hope a little! it’s free!

As Tobias Wolff remarked in response to the tiresome “it doesn’t matter” doomerism, “OK. My page is going to be about seizing empowerment right now, not insisting upon defeat.”
November 18, 2025 at 9:14 PM
"there won't be elections" doomerism became "the democrats caved" which has now become "they'll scrub the files" and "they'll delay the file releases by claiming there's an active investigation"🙄

For all the democrats thinking she had turned over a new leaf. How gullible can you be? AFAO is only one letter switch from FAFO, which is all populism has to offer in the end

There is no way to fully "scrub" the files. This isn't some bad spy movie plot.

Pro tip: a political party that ties ACA subsidy extensions to abortion restrictions was never going to grant those extensions to begin with

Perhaps the dumbest political take I’ve seen today, and it’s only 8:30
November 11, 2025 at 2:31 PM
For the people pushing the "cave" narrative: exactly when do you think the Republicans would give in and extend the ACA credits? Next week? 6 months from now? If last week's election results didn't budge them, nothing would. In the meantime, people lose food.
November 11, 2025 at 1:52 PM
On what planet was Johnson ever going to extend the ACA subsidies? If last week’s election results didn’t budge them, nothing would.

Good breakdown of the “Schumer caves” panic posting:
Folks, we need to have a little Civics #101 chat, because apparently the media no longer seems fit to explain to you whats happening.

So quick review:

The House passed a clean CR.

The senate has not passed anything.

Please do
I would just like to ask the Republican Party to please put Stephen Miller in front cameras as much as possible from now until the midterms because he is such a likable & charismatic person with so many amazing & popular ideas for people who aren’t white Christian nationalists.

NOW he's concerned?

Trump has now made it even more difficult for republicans in congress. I hope they do it so they can take 100% of the blame for a change.

Preach! The man in this video is truth telling and it needs to be spread far and wide.
Understand this: most Black people see the Graham Platner controversy through a completely different lens than most white people— our lived experience. So stop telling us it’s no big deal. It’s no big deal to YOU.

As Tim Walz said, mind your own damn business
I’ve had it with the fucking food police bullshit. Poor people are allowed to eat a steak every now and then and dare I say it, even a candy bar too. Anybody who begrudges them that can kiss my ass. I’m sick of the make poor people as miserable as you can crowd.
