A couple of points and a question:
1) There are some problems with the DeWall et al. (2011) study. See languagelog.ldc.upenn.edu/nll/?p=3080
2) More 1st-person pronouns doesn't necessarily mean more self-obsession from the user. There's no relationship between 1st-pers pronouns and narcissism

1) There are some problems with the DeWall et al. (2011) study. See languagelog.ldc.upenn.edu/nll/?p=3080
2) More 1st-person pronouns doesn't necessarily mean more self-obsession from the user. There's no relationship between 1st-pers pronouns and narcissism

FWIW, I tried telling the author why this was bad when it was published. They weren't having it. Maybe there's a reason linguists don't use the F-K test? 🤷♂️
