Kind of crazy that I can just sit down at my desk with a pot of tea, tell my brain to think of a story, agonize for 30 mins while I look over everything I've ever written, check social media, decide to work on something else, agonize some more, and then a story miraculously appears in my brain. 🤷

I think you should get weirder and freakier about their writing next year. Expel the thoughts of "is this too much? too strange? too out there?" fuck it, we ball. Break the ancient seal cast upon ye. Unleash the inner esoteric thing within clawing, begging to wreak creative havoc.

Graphics for my publication stats 2025 vs. 2024! This year I wrote to submission prompts, shifted genres to primarily sci-fi, doubled my submissions, and increased simultaneous submissions. And most importantly of all, I wrote things I loved.

Today I read "Obsolescence" by @rosemaxwell.bsky.social, and I can't recommend it enough. It's a thoughtful, melancholy, complicated story about an obsolete war robot and the man who finds it.

8 days until I get my hands on the special edition of Thrice Married to a Salted Fish vol. 1. 🐟🎆🎊 Is it at times the only thing keeping me going? Yes.

Absolutely dying to read it when it finally releases in the US 😭
Three (US) ARCs to mark three weeks until UK publication! I realise using ARCs that have a different publication date on them is confusing, but they just arrived and I couldn't resist.
