"Pilgrimage" is easily the literary work that had the most impact on me during the last decade (to the point of inspiring a multi-year project of my own).
Just one week to the start of Reading Pilgrimage 2026

To take part, sign up for the email list at ReadingPilgrimage.com. This is how we'll distribute invitations to the monthly discussions on Zoom and provide helpful information on each chapter-volume of Dorothy Richardson's Pilgrimage.

Me lavé las manos: Lavei as mans.

Cunha diferenza verdadeiramente abismal.

My article "Performing a Thirteenth-Century Romance: The Roman de Silence" is now available open access. I am moderately proud of this one, as it marks a departure from my usual topics and methodologies (cont.). www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....

I think this post nails the actual problem, for researchers at least—AI hallucinations would simply not be a problem in academic work if we’d not normalized citation-as-signaling rather than actual engagement—you can only cite a fake paper if you’re not in the habit of reading the papers you cite

i hate the academic long sentence police so much! sometimes sentences need to be long! sometimes they cannot simply broken up or shortened! it’s not my fault you can’t keep track of more than two lines at a time!
