In Washington state and we’re stuck in our neighborhood due to downed trees. It’s been almost a decade here and this is the first time it’s felt like Tennessee weather.

The neurologist today told us not to worry about dementia anymore for my dad because the cancer will likely take him before the brain can go.

I can't stop thinking about the purported drug smugglers being murdered by the US military. The punishment for drug offenses isn't the death penalty. This is just bloodlust and men in suits playing with lives they don't care about. It's truly grotesque and gravely compromises this country.

I had to say goodbye to my dad again to fly home. He has stage 4 bladder cancer and I never know for sure if he’ll be there when I go back.
My heart really is in two places and it hurts like hell. Life really is too much sometimes.
