A group of researchers at Columbia University asked both human participants and their “digital” twins–large language models trained on each participant’s data–to complete the same set of tasks. This research explores how closely digital twins can mirror human judgement and decision-making.

One of the greatest glow-ups in modern politics by Sen Booker. Judge Brown is unsmiling because she’s trying so hard to keep from bursting into tears

Cory is gifted.

PS we met him twice in small campaign events, and he is magic in person too. And playing the long game.
Fam, remember three years ago when Cory Booker brought tears to all of our eyes when he lifted up Ketanji Brown Jackson?

“You are worthy.”

That’s who he is. That’s who he’s always been.

Giving US researchers a new home
Amid growing pressure from the US government, Hertie School President Cornelia Woll co-authors op-ed arguing that German institutions have the opportunity to support world-class researchers.

People need to understand that we are in an entirely new paradigm. It is now Russia the US against Ukraine and Europe. This is not a shift in US policy, it is a transformation of what kind of country the United States is in the world
