A couple years old now but why not seed my profile with things that spark joy. 2022 Canadian GP in Montreal. Hundreds of people were lined up in front of RB, Mercedes, Ferrari. My wife and I were the only people in front of the Williams garage. They invited us in!

When the year is 1994, I don’t know how I can even choose. It’s a toss up between REM - Monster and Beastie Boys - Ill Communication. But also Bad Religion - Stranger Than Fiction. Today is Monday so I will pick Beastie Boys I guess

Ok, is it just me or has iOS 26 made vertical swipes much more sensitive to horizontal movements? Like I can’t swipe down to dismiss photos or scroll vertically anymore unless it is a perfect 90 degree swipe motion.

The Legend of Zelda was released in North America on this day in 1987. This is my oil painting based off of the box cover art of the Japanese version, Hyrule Fantasy. This was my first Zelda game and one of my favorite games growing up, leading to a lifetime love of the franchise and video games.

Since the term AI has been poisoned by generative world-burning stuff, we're going to have to go back to calling video game AI routines "the computer." I couldn't beat the final boss because the computer was being cheap, etc.

Seriously one thing I think is really underrated about Fury Road is how the villains are a handful of gerontocrats, physically weak oligarchs who have resource hoarded / socially manipulated the young to doing their violent bidding.
Zatoichi movies figured out you give the pathos to the hired muscle villain and make the mob boss/evil lord a venal little shit.

Went to a local independent theatre last night to see The Last Starfighter, a favourite of mine from my childhood. It was exactly what I needed - two hours of silly escapism.
