In 2010, right before Minecraft absolutely exploded, I ran a pretty popular server. I coded a mod that wrote OMAR COMING to the screen whenever I’d join the server.

I worked on some early Unreal mods with the person who was the lead programmer for this game. He told us some nightmare stories of the demands they were given. Considering that it was even remotely playable at all in 2.5 weeks I think speaks to how good the dev team actually was.
