Don't know if it's just because I'm getting old but the short days are getting to me. I'm taking naps after work and still going to bed early. I can counter it with even minor physical activity like a half hour walk, but it doesn't feel great otherwise

Solidly in the 90s in my comic reading now, and already annoyed with the superstar artist direction things are moving it. The biggest names go off to Image, of course, but the worst tendencies of spectacle and incomprehensible action remain.

Since I'm reading some 90s comics, I looked into the 90s comic bubble, and saw some Valiant comics splash page which made me think of, for the first time in decades, about Archer and Armstrong.

I hate Amazon. I tried, and I tried, and I fucking TRIED, but I could not make this $1000 gift Visa work to pay for part of the snowblower I wanted any other way. It turns out it's rare for companies to allow splitting between two cards.

Sounds like the new Hyrule Warriors REALLY hamstrung itself by making it be canon, both because the actual past story from TotK isn't super interesting and it forces the roster to be half filled with randos no one cares about

Like when I had in the past it was always with a bit of "looking for friendship and maybe more!" sort of thing. Transitioning to explicitly "I just wanna get my dick wet" brings up some weird heteronormative monogamous guilt.
