A PayPal call center supervisor said they actually completely agree with me. They said that if enough people call PayPal they would be forced to take notice. I explained the Patreon/Itch/Steam situation and they said they're a creative themselves & that they hope the situation improves.

I have said from the very first start that this technology is built off of a cruel anti-consent mindset. GenAi with datasets built off of stolen work and data is unethical and should not be legal in any country.
We also deserve consumer protections from false advertising (not unrelated at all).

Now you can understand how n why WB didn’t want to distribute our movie and were nearly so willing to kill it throughout its production. It’s honestly a miracle it got released, let alone theatrically. Thanks to Ketchup for picking up the bill and giving it at least SOME kind of publicity campaign.
