What a disgusting excuse for a human being Donald Trump is. The man is a bonafide coward who dodged military service when his number was called in Vietnam. Yet he has the gall to question the service of men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice fighting America's futile "War On Terror"

So in the USA "The greatest democracy on earth" you only need a simple majority to change the law but you need 60% to keep the lights on? How fucking dumb is that? Put it on the list with the electoral college, super PACs, lobby groups and citizens United. Serious reform of the democracy needed.

While in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence I came across this painting "The Calumny of Apelles". It is of the ancient King Midas and depicts the corruption of his governance. I thought of a modern day Midas and how this shows human folly is timeless. When will we learn?
