While in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence I came across this painting "The Calumny of Apelles". It is of the ancient King Midas and depicts the corruption of his governance. I thought of a modern day Midas and how this shows human folly is timeless. When will we learn?

An old one this but a good one in light of the bigots who marched through Dublin on the weekend. Right wing racism and their fear will not take hold in Ireland 🇮🇪
