I moved off Canvas this fall, and have set up spring using Box folders with some refinements from my students: organizing everything in weekly folders, & adding a shared calendar they can subscribe to in order to give them the deadline alerts they miss from Canvas.

@emnk.bsky.social often holds me down at these cons. She insists she has fun, but she’s also there more & more as my handler: not because I’m beating off crowds, but because it’s hard for me to regulate. So it’s a godsend to have someone who gets it but isn’t IN this space, who came up with me.

A little tidbit: @janeese4dc.bsky.social just told me that her campaign qualified for public financing in just four hours since launching. That required getting $40,000 in small donations from at least 1,000 D.C. residents. That's pretty fast.
NEWS: Ward 4 Councilmember Janeese Lewis George is running for mayor, stepping into an open race in the wake of Mayor Muriel Bowser's decision not to seek a fourth term. At-Large Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie is also meeting with campaign consultants this week for his own run.

I've been slowly improving the Northanger Sprites in advance of an eventual Steam release, this is probably the one I was least happy with and it's definitely improved! Never think it's too late to improve your art, I was in my late 30s when I drew the first lot and am still learning in my 40s.
