Actually really sad right now!!
It's with heavy hearts that we share that Claude, our beloved albino alligator, has passed away at the age of 30. Claude brought joy to millions of people at the Academy and across the world during his 17 year tenure. We will miss him dearly. 🤍

It is super common people come back and work here again for my job after leaving (which is such a sign it’s a decent place). I think my coworker just set a record he only left for 3 months 😹

I made a Poki bowl for dinner and this is my reminder to myself to do that more. Sushi rice in the rice cooker, a handful of chopped veg and packaged smoked salmon and done. I used baby carrots, baby cukes, and tomatoes this time. Topped with kewpie mayo and sriracha.

I heard about Shaggy singing “it wasn’t me” on the turkey float in the parade and thought it was a joke making fun of how random the parade is. But no. That happened and I just saw a video of it.

Had an excellent if unconventional Thanksgiving meal today. I think the cornbread and stuffing were the only things typical. So much more delicious than dry turkey.

This is hopefully Cooper’s last night in the crate! He’s been a little cuddle bug when we take our breaks. I think he’ll get the all clear no problem.

My friend who I’ve kind of lost contact with is having a birthday party tomorrow. I was going to go but it’s a ways on public transit and I just looked up where in the park it is and it seems like it’s not close to a bathroom and I have huge anxiety around that so now I don’t think I’ll go.

Ugh I swear the last time I actually tried to renew my ID it said I had to go to the DMV so I went today and while I waited went to make sure my application was still in and this time it said it could be done online and they’ll mail it to me. Maybe last time was too soon?
