You can't... repeal... a scientific finding. At that point it's just called lying about it.
Breaking News: The Trump administration repealed the bedrock scientific finding that greenhouse gases threaten human life and well being, meaning that the EPA can no longer regulate them. nyti.ms/4rSszQu

Nobody has tried yet. It can’t be so bad? I’d award a virtual trophy for three out of four 🏆

“Can you hear me? Can you hear me? I think not. Is this better? No? Can you hear me? Apparently not. I will leave Teams and join the call again.”
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"Could we have one day without someone in government dumping on marginalised groups please? Just one for starters"

A man told me yesterday that it was important to "take emotion out of the equation“ when analysing the situation in the US, at which point I told him very calmly that "a woman who disagrees with you is not necessarily emotional".

Ladies, it was a breakthrough.

I should have done this years ago.

There is literally zero time to waste right now, but I have to say that there is a part of me which is not only appalled and worried, but genuinely sad tonight. I have always thought of myself as an Atlanticist, it gives me no pleasure to say this.
The world we relied on no longer exists.

Seeing as I'm blathering about Spitfires, here's a free mythbuster for Bluesky

The little letter after the Spitfire mark designation - e.g. Spitfire Vb, Spitfire XVIe - what does it mean?

I'm publicly releasing this episode for two reasons.

First, because people have been requesting I release it for years now... and second, because look at the news. It's here.

Now seeing a debate about how Hitler could have won/at what point could he have stopped and won/etc. and not jumping into it because if you think he *could have stopped* you do not understand Hitler. If the Holocaust and Lebensraum is not the key consideration, its all just a game of Axis & Allies.

It's easy to think Belgian comic art begins and ends with the usual passport stamps: Tintin, the Smurfs, Lucky Luke. But step into a new retrospective on Buck Danny, the fictional US fighter pilot, and you’re suddenly in a different tradition.
