I’m no great fan of the ACA.

I believe we should guarantee health care as a human right through a single-payer Medicare for All system.

But — at minimum — we cannot allow Republicans to destroy our already-broken system by doubling insurance premiums for 20 million Americans.

The only person who has been seizing private companies through the power of the state is Trump.
Kelly Loeffler: "This is gonna be a crisis in the city of New York, to have a communist in there talking about seizing the means of production ... this is the face of Democrat Party now, and you saw that with everyone coming and bowing to him."

Let me congratulate @zysaidso.bsky.social for her election to the Charlottesville School Board.

Amazing. He's saying the quiet part out loud without even realizing it.

I know how absurd this is to say these days, but it's important to remember that officially, redistricting isn't supposed to unfairly favor one party over another.
Mike Johnson: "I think the midterm is gonna be a great one for us. We have a very favorable election map on the Republican side and it will be even more favorable once all the redistricting, uh, stuff has settled out."

📽️ WATCH: The U.S. government doesn’t track how often immigration agents detain citizens. So ProPublica did.

We found more than 170 incidents since the start of Trump’s second term. Americans have been kicked, dragged and held for days without access to lawyers.

Even ProPublica reporters hit a dead end when trying to track down where a popular prescription drug (atorvastatin, which treats high cholesterol) was made and whether the factory had a troubled record.
