Okay... coming your way in August 2025: Forever, Maybe—a bittersweet Glasgow-set love story full of Scottish humour, emotional repression and men who own too many hoodies.
Think One Day, but with more rain, more sarcasm and significantly more mentions of roll and sausage.

I’ll admit this—as a HEAVY social media user

We were better off when it was on the computer and the computer was in a specific location and that location was in the home.

#Caturday... my poor wee guy has been diagnosed with a tumour on his pancreas. We've decided against further treatment as a) it might not work, b) it's super stressful (our vet agrees), c) it's £3k plus. So, we're giving William his best life. Sleep, all his favourite food, loads of head rubs. Ach.

My dad was a long-term tenant farmer, who had to put up with shooting parties. Soon as he had enough money to buy the farm, he stopped allowing the shooters on it.
Grew up as rurally as it possible to be in Kent and the local Hunt was nearly universally despised as townies cosplaying on an idea of countryside that belonged to the 18th century. Ban hunting with horses instead and make the fuckers keep up with the hounds on foot.

#Caturday! Cat recovering from pancreatitis (and serious weight loss). Favourite blanket on sofa? Tick. Food options x three? Tick. Food and water nearby? Tick. Litter box in the living room (despite the stink). Tick as well.

God, me too... first thing I look at these days when deciding whether or not to go to the cinema is, HAS THIS DIRECTOR GONE ALL PETER JACKSON?
I simply love when a film is 1h34m

Rom-Com Author vs The Real World
Real life, as it turns out, has the audacity not to care about plot. I normally show up here with sparkle: punchlines, pink things and over-enthusiastic exclamation marks. But today’s post is different. Same author, same typing posture (slightly hunched), but fewer jazzy metaphors and more truth. The past few years have been a masterclass in emotional compression that I am, frankly, failing.

The Ultimate Skincare Guide for People Who Think Double Cleansing Sounds Like Hard Work (and Who’d Rather Spend Their Cash on Books)
Let’s be honest: skincare is confusing, expensive and suspiciously reminiscent of homework. Every time you open Instagram, a 22-year-old tries to convince you you need snail mucus, caviar eye patches or a jade roller blessed by a Himalayan goat. Meanwhile, your own “routine” consists of whatever you found on special in Boots and, occasionally, baby wipes (we’ve all been there).

Christmas in the Highlands was meant to be relaxing but between the gossiping locals, surprise guests, leaking secrets and a baby who refuses to cooperate, Gaby & Jack’s holiday is a festive disaster in the best possible way.
