Bad motorist behaviour is everywhere on Irish roads. Here are some of the worst things I've seen
It seems there’s little or no policing of bad motorist behaviour – so I guess I’ll have to go on my own personal traffic patrol

Watching #TheTraitors finale and Leanne really kept up that main character energy to the very end. Admirable

Just comprehensively detailed everything I've managed to avoid impulse purchasing in 2025 for a Substack post. As well as everything I have purchased including Adam Levine's perfume "For Her"

Me and @sarahjaybee.bsky.social have a Substack. Mostly new OMGWACA fiction, with some personal writing.

That shot of Alexander drinking his fizz by the fireplace is like something from Bridgerton season 1. #TheTraitors

My health insurance, without which I can't access any ED services, is going up by 12.7% in the new year. It's a massive privilege to have it in the first place but FUCK ME

Still blows my mind that the Santa Claus mommy is kissing in the song is THE DAD. When I was a kid I genuinely had such horrifying visions of a mam scoring Santy

I really thought that by the time I was properly grown up I'd be able to have a chocolate advent calendar and just have one little sweet treat every day. Not the case. Substantially not the case.

Tough year for art sales and I depend solely on it for a living, so if you like anything I do, I'd appreciate if you'd keep me in mind when buying gifts for friends or family. If you hate what I do, I'd appreciate if you'd keep me in mind when buying gifts for enemies or nemeses.

I used to have to phone them in from the count centre
Being able to follow the counts online and the rapid updates is something so basic now but thinking of how ~20 years ago I was a runner for the RTÉ coverage and my job was distributing photocopies of counts to the studio panels. I don’t think they even had laptops?

Just spent two hours deleting 9GB of stuff off my phone just so I could wipe out the software update notification. I used to collect rocks.

Not participating in Black Friday because I'm against the relentless creeping Americanisation of Irish life and as a tiny artist I can't afford to, but will instead be doing Vengeful Hag Friday where for every print you purchase from www.ciaraioch.com I will fervently wish bad cess to your enemies

Dropped off a DPD parcel at one of their shop hubs and the guy in the shop was like "you must buy something" so I bought some cat treats and he said I should get my treats for myself. He was both menacing and sweet.

Say Nothing is a really well done adaptation of a very dense (and excellent) book. It also has a pretty good soundtrack
