The last 3 days have consisted of a fuzzy blanket, ibuprofen and "Oh bloody hell, *again*?" and I am quite tired of it. I would like to get back to writing now pls thx

Dan will definitely be keeping his mouth shut about what he did on this holiday. Not breaking but certainly entering.
Preorders are now open, with a full roster of purchase links at the Wizard's Tower Press website.

Currently it's the kitchen table (because it's close to the kettle, obvs). I used to have a desk & office chair in the spare room but my decreasing mobility has put paid to that #SpoonieAuthChat

Tfw you have to interrupt a perfectly good writing streak for some pesky triviality called lunch. How dare my stomach have opinions when there are words to be written!

Tfw you came late to a series and only bought the first 3 books but waited so long to read them that by the time you did and fell in love with it, the publishers relaunched it with new covers and now you have to buy all 10 because otherwise the covers won't match on the shelf. #BookSky 💙📚

It's only taken me over a decade, but I've finally added buy links for my books to my website. Why do I now feel faintly grubby?

I feel ashamed of myself for even posting this and asking, but I need the help to take some of the stress and pressure away - me and my husband, and our three beautiful dogs, are hoping that you can help raise emergency funds to try and find a new house.

I have a tiny superpower: the ability to peel a satsuma and keep the skin in one piece. I don't know why it is so ridiculously satisfying. What are your #TinySuperpowers?

Some by size cos fixed shelf height, but within that by author, by series. Non-fic lives in a separate bookcase, but shares it with contemp, histfic & romance because they don't belong with genre. Spouse has his own bookshelves, of course.

Who am I kidding? It's chaos, it's always chaos.
Which are you, readers?

So, er.

It turns out that there was a miscommunication about the publication date for ANGEL MAKER: A KAREN MEMORY ADVENTURE.

And, fantastic news, it's coming out September 2nd!

So... 23 days sooner than previously anticipated!

Productive writing session again. Merged two scenes into one and cut ~2,300 words of fat. Noice. #AmEditing

It's raining steadily outside, I've got the window open and my overheated, disabled ass planted in a comfy chair, with my feet up. Current chance of naps: good.

Yesterday I was really productive, wrote over 1k and got this scene virtually complete. Couple of paragraphs to do, should be a slam-dunk.

Today? In 90mins I wrote maybe seven words, deleted five of them and started second-guessing everything I wrote the day before.

I think my brain hates me.

Pro tip: when dual-wielding a foamy sponge and a disposable razor in the shower, *do not* attempt to pass the razor behind you to rinse it in your off-hand. Ask me how I know.
