suppose you're a grad student making 20something an hour, 0.5 FTE. Probably on a MA/PhD track but you're far from rich. Then *that* essay lands on your desk. What else are you supposed to do?

The only times I've gotten IV liquids in my life were for, well, let's say I wasn't doing hot:
1) food poisoning where I was both puking and shitting my guts out
2) rhabdomyolysis; my creatine kinase was 100x normal levels and my piss was brown
3) overdose
just drink water when you can please.
