As a no kill shelter, they don't euthanise the scaredy babies, which means feeding them.

Need light in your life? Try this: I volunteer at my local animal shelter in the cat rooms. It’s true that once you’re certified, they just let you pet the cats, give them treats, and play with them. And it benefits the cats since the more they socialize the better chance of adoption.
