The House Republicans continue to protect a pedophile sex trafficking ring and all their friends who were involved.

Not surprising, but hilarious on a day when the GOP is insisting that a partial release of emails was meant to smear the innocent President.

Why keep hiding the files then?
Nancy Mace is expected to pull her support for the petition to release the Epstein Files, the day before Adelita Grijalva is sworn in.

I’d started to wonder whether the Epstein files were a bit of a macguffin, but no no they implicate the President of the United States in a pedophilia ring—and show the entire Republican Party as well as much of the federal government has been baldly covering it up. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

The new Epstein emails are the most incriminating evidence to date on Trump & Epstein & let's be clear, there has been plenty of incriminating evidence for many years. So, can we stop treating this like a process story and start focusing squarely on the likelihood Trump is a pedophile sex criminal.

the only thing democrats should be saying today is “the entire republican party is engaged in a coverup of the most notorious child sex trafficking ring in world history”

This headline is journalistic malpractice. This isn't Epstein "alleging" that Trump knew. This is Epstein and Maxwell discussing - in 2011, long before Trump had political salience - how the FACT that Trump knew might play out

Both of them took as a given that this was a fact in a private email

Q: Mr. Johnson, you understand that you’re actually the Speaker of the House, correct?

A: I don’t know much about that. I just heard something about it this morning but don’t know the specifics.

"you were mad when trump used this language to lie about democrats. how do you justify using the same language now to tell the truth about republicans?"
get a load of this line of questioning from CBS's Margaret Brennan to Hakeem Jeffries aimed at bothsidesing election denial and gerrymandering

It flies under the radar because it is overwhelmed by the sheer repulsiveness of the physical destruction of the east wing, but there is no way that a president should be allowed to use private money to change public property. It circumvents the power of the purse.

the president has destroyed the east wing of the white house without so much as a word of input from anyone else to build a royal ballroom paid for with bribes
NEW: After The Washington Post reported Monday on the demolition of the "East Wing facade," a new picture obtained by Law Dork that was taken on Tuesday shows that a substantial portion of the entirety of the East Wing has been demolished.

platners excuse on pod save was still that it isn't even a nazi tattoo. he painted it as a youthful drunken random skull, and implied that had it been a nazi tattoo, he'd have wisely kept his shirt on the last 18 years. he won't admit it.
this also drives me insane, this idea that it is the most normal thing in the world for a young (white) man to have a nazi curious phase. it isn’t!

i feel like he shouldn't have used the qualifier "secret."

And I think that’s an important point about what’s happened with Trump in the last decade - if you plainly state what he’s doing or has done, people don’t believe you because it sounds cartoonishly evil enough that he would be acting differently if it was true. Now he’s acting differently.
