started up on animal crossing on the switch again. its nice - especially when i am using it as a visual representation of online friends - but bordering on too much demand for my energy.

its weird leaving the house when you don’t regularly do so (im predominantly bedbound, will be dealing with repercussions but i need to do this for my mental sanity so i accept repercussions). like… a) theres so many people but b) its so interesting to see just how much Stuff there is everywhere.

i still frequent tumblr (since 2009 baby, im not leaving) and ive been queueueueing posts up because why not they made it easy again, but i forgot that i’d done some that were saying theyd post about the 5th of december which were christmassy & updated how often posts send. so. it posted today. ok

Honestly "Don't Engage, Just Block" has transformed my social media experience so profoundly that it's hard for me to describe. It's just so much better to be online now.
i also liked the fact that most of us who had come from the other site had the mentality of not giving "bad actors" the benefit of the doubt on here , and told all to block, not mute, an move on

the issue i have is that if a day has involved a lot of noise and or stimulation (/demands on me) then i need three hours of silence at night to decompress
but there are not a spare three hours in my day for me to continue to sleep (i already wake up at 12…) so i just. suffer
